This afternoon I watched one of the most unique worship sets I’ve ever seen. It was the music for the Good Friday service at Mars Hill Church in Seattle from this past April. The worship leader is named Chad Gardner (no relation). Stylistically, it’s really not my cup of tea, but it contains three of my favorite hymns, plus two that I’d never heard but which also have really great lyrics. If you can spare 24 minutes to watch the whole set (not sure how these arrangements would work separately, but they work together as a set), let me know what you think.
