Superheroes for the NHL — Stan Lee, creator of Spider-Man, Iron Man, and the X-Men, is teaming up with the NHL to create 30 “Guardians”, one for each NHL team. I guess that’s one way to try to introduce new fans to hockey… (HT: OTF)

Not-so-special October — Perhaps you’ve heard/read that because this October has 5 Fridays, 5 Saturdays, and 5 Sundays, it’s special because that only happens once every 823 years. I’ve seen that posted by several people. Here’s the problem: it’s baloney. Why do people believe this stuff?

More on Mohler and Yoga — A couple weeks ago I posted a few articles relating to Christianity and yoga. Apparently, Al Mohler’s article has gotten a lot of publicity, and it didn’t go over real well with a lot of professing Christians. Here’s his response to the criticism.
