Radical Individualism: A Good Trait for Young Pastors? — John MacArthur clarifies his recent criticism of Darrin Patrick (author of the popular recent book Church Planter). The problem isn’t with Patrick’s personal theology, which is orthodox. It’s with the fact that his emphasis on individualism opens the door for young, zealous church planters to develop their own theology without the guidance and oversight of Godly men who have come before.
