Arenas of Service — I’d planned to write something about this yesterday, but given the circumstances, you can probably understand why I neglected it. Anyway, I really enjoyed this World Magazine article about Luther’s doctrine of vocation. It will still make a great read, even a day after Labor Day.

The Gospel of Wealth — David Platt’s book “Radical” (read my review here) continues to get a lot of well-deserved publicity. Yesterday it was featured in The New York Times.
